About Us
The U.S. Catholic Mission Association (USCMA) is linked historically both to the Mission Secretariat, which served the mission sending groups for over twenty years, as well as to the U.S. Catholic Mission Council, which functioned for some twelve years, until September 1, 1981.
USCMA was approved in its present mode at the Annual Assembly of the Board of Directors in May 1981.
USCMA continues to foster the development of cross-cultural and global mission and ministry in an ever-changing world. The following areas give structure to the ongoing work of the association.
