The Annual USCMA Conference gathers members and those concerned about the cross-cultural and global mission of the Church.

During the Business Meeting at the US Catholic Mission Association 2008 Conference three Resolutions were passed:
1. Celebrating 100 Years of Mission Ad Gentes
2. Banning Cluster Munitions
3. Opposing the New U.S. Military Command for Africa (AFRIC0M).

The 2008 Mission Awards were presented to the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, Maryknoll Sisters and Maryknoll Lay Missioners.

During the Business Meeting at the US Catholic Mission Association 2007 Conference three Resolutions were passed:
1. On US 2008 Elections: In a Global Neighborhood
2. Supporting Access to Essential Medicines
3. Supporting Debt Cancellation for Impoverished Countries

The 2007 Mission Awards were presented to the Texas Mission Council and the Mission Office of the Diocese of St. Cloud, MN.

"Celebrating & Integrating Our Mission Perspectives: Short Term, Long Term, On Whose Terms?" celebrated the 25th anniversary of U.S. Catholic Mission Association and explored one of the new ways of doing mission - short term mission experiences.

Mission Congress has been held every five years (i.e., 2000, 2005)
Mission Congress replaces the USCMA Annual Conference the years in which they are held.
