Center for Study of Religious Life Web Site
The purpose of the Center for Study of Religious Life is to take a broad look at the life of Catholic religious priests, sisters, and brothers in the last 30 years in the context of research available and to enable implementation of action on a practical level. CSRL is sponsored by the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR), the Conference of Major Superiors of Men (CMSM) and Catholic Theological Union (CTU) in Chicago.
The Center, located on the grounds of CTU, convenes conferences and symposia that incorporate the fields of scripture, theology, sociology, psychology, history, and cultural anthropology and engage religious bishops, clergy, laity, coworkers and others in conversations about religious life.
