The Legal Resource Center for Religious is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Associate Director for Canon Law. The Associate Director serves in a role that is primarily educative and consultative regarding the variety of canonical issues affecting religious communities. LRCR works with CMSM, LCWR, and NATRI in assisting religious communities on the community, local and national levels. Coordinator of Fair Trade Uniforms - HandCrafting Justice
Astoria, NY
Fair Trade Uniforms (FTU) is searching for a Coordinator who will have the overall responsibility of advertising, marketing, managing orders, and supervising delivery of product. FTU is a project of HandCrafting Justice (HCJ), a member of the Fair Trade Federation, and like its parent organization is fully committed to Fair Trade values. The Coordinator will also act as a liaison between venders, our manufacturing partners and schools in the United States. Additionally, as part of HandCrafting Justice this person will work in collaboration with staff of HCJ towards the greater mission of the project. The Coordinator will be professionally supervised by the Director of HandCrafting Justice.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Fair Trade Uniforms and all of its components
- Create and develop promotional materials
- Visit with school administrators, students and parents to discuss the philosophy and goals of the Fair Trade movement
- Develop new markets for Fair Trade Uniforms
- Develop an expertise regarding the fabric content and care of uniforms, and of the school uniform market in general
- Ensure and supervise on-time delivery and payment
- Understand the benefits of this work to the overseas marketers and be able to convey the benefits of fair trade/sweat-free uniforms to potential customers
Qualifications:
- Business management experience
- Marketing experience (preferred)
- Masters in Business Administration (preferred)
- Experience working in schools or with school administration
- Commitment to working for social justice and women's empowerment
- Good personal skills in communicating the values of HandCrafting Justice
- Experience in marketing and advertising
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Publisher
- Spanish proficiency (preferred)

National Marketing and Recruitment Director - St. Vincent Pallotti Center

The St. Vincent Pallotti Center is seeking a resourceful and innovative candidate for the position of National Marketing and Recruitment Director. The Pallotti Center is a national organization known for promoting a culture of service and equipping full-time volunteers and their programs with pertinent resources. This position is responsible for marketing the full-time volunteer opportunities offered by the Pallotti Center’s network of programs and increasing the organization’s visibility and reach.
Qualifications:
Preference is for a candidate who has previous experience as a full-time volunteer and is familiar with the Catholic culture. Experience with volunteer recruitment is highly desirable. Computer skills such as Microsoft Outlook/Outlook Express, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required. Familiarity with computer-based recruiting and social networking sites also desired.
Candidate must have excellent organizational and time-management skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Public speaking skills are highly desirable. A college degree is required, preferably in marketing, communications or a related field..

Program Advisor, Global Fellows Program & CRS Headquarters Chaplain

Job Summary:
Catholic Relief Services U.S. Operations programs support Catholics in the U.S. to live out their faith in solidarity with the poor around the world. The Global Fellows Program contributes to this vision by connecting U.S. Catholic priests, deacons, seminarians to parishes and Catholic schools through awareness raising activities.
The Global Fellows Program Advisor is responsible for managing the recruitment process and scheduling of priests and deacons with parishes for the Global Fellows program, as well as seeking strategic improvements to these processes to support the growth of this valuable program.
The Program Advisor works in collaboration with the six US Operations Regional Offices, the Domestic Programs department and most extensively with the Global Fellows Program Team to ensure smooth programmatic operations and integration among CRS’ outreach efforts.
In addition, this position also serves as Chaplain at CRS Headquarters presiding at weekly Masses and assisting with visiting prelates. This job responsibility will take 25% of the Program Advisor's time.
Key Working Relationships:
Internal: Global Fellows team, US Regional Directors and staff, Domestic Programs Support Unit, Advocacy Team, Constituency Relations and Support Unit, Fundraising, Marketing and Communications staff, Human Resources.
External: Bishops, Diocesan Directors, Priests, Deacons, Seminaries, Catholic Schools and Parishes.
Qualifications:
1) Ordained to Roman Catholic Priesthood and in Good Standing with the Church
2) Permission of Bishop/Superior to serve in this capacity for a minimum of 2 years
3) Familiarity with CRS and Catholic Social Teaching
4) Min 3-5 years of related program management experience
5) Overseas experience preferred
6) Proficient in operating personal computers and Microsoft Office programs, especially Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
7) Spanish helpful.
Travel: Willingness and physical ability to travel domestically up to 25% time required; some international travel to developing countries also required.
