SEDOS - Service of Documentation and Studies
Began during Vatican II for the exchange of information and views on Mission in the Church, SEDOS is a membership organization made up of religious missionary societies. SEDOS is an extraordinary catalyst of the missionary energy of the member societies. Inter-religious dialogue and ecumenism are important dimensions of the Service. SEDOS organizes various seminars throughout the year and provides an umbrella for various groups meeting on a regular basis for updating and sharing of information on particular mission situations. They publish the monthly SEDOS Bulletin with articles in English and French. The Service contains an extensive collection of books and a computer-based program of significant mission topics. SEDOS has also published several books.
