Rev. John R. Nuelle, M.S.

Father John Nuelle, MS is a Missionary of Our Lady of La Salette. For the past 15 years Fr. Nuelle has been the Executive Director of the North American La Salette Mission Center (LSMC). Fr. Nuelle is an alumnus of the Gregorian University in Rome, Italy, where he earned a Licentiate in both Philosophy and Theology. In 1966 Fr. Nuelle began ministering as a missioner in Morondava, Madagascar, and for his last nine years there he was Regional Superior of that mission. This was followed in 1988 by a 6-year sojourn in Rome where he served simultaneously as second General Counselor of the Congregation, Secretary General and, for an interim, Procurator to the Holy See. Returning to the States in 1994, Fr. Nuelle worked in the Mission Office of the St. Louis Province until, in 1996, he reorganized and unified the mission offices of the four North American provinces into the new Mission Center and served as its Executive Director before coming to the USCMA.

 

Genevieve Mougey

Genevieve Mougey is originally from North Platte, Nebraska.  After graduating from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota she moved back to Nebraska where she served as a Lay Ecclesial Minister for six years.  Genevieve moved to Collegeville, Minnesota in 2006 to pursue a Master in Divinity from Saint John’s University School Of Theology.  She graduated in 2009 with interests in issues of solidarity and Lay Ecclesial Ministry practices. 
 

 

Stephen F. Scott

Stephen came to USCMA in 2010.  He is a graduate of the Catholic University of America's School of Arts and Sciences with a BA in Classical Civilizations with minor studies in Anthropology, History and Religious Studies. He is currently working on a MTS at Washington Theological Union.  He is active in both the liturgical life and social justice ministry at the Cathedral of Saint Matthew the Apostle in Washington, DC where he has been a parishioner since 2002.



Sr. Anne Louise Von Hoene

Sr. Anne Louise Von Hoene, originally from New Jersey, entered the Medical Mission Sisters (MMS) in Philadelphia after graduating from Georgian Court College, Lakewood NJ in 1951.  After further studies in pharmacy and later business administration in St. Louis and Chicago, she worked for 20 years in Ghana, West Africa as a pharmacist and as a hospital administrator.  For 11 years, she was based in London, England, serving as General Treasurer of the Medical Mission Sisters.  After returning from England, she settled in the DC area because of interest in social justice issues, such as Jubilee 2000.  She served for 6 years on the Board of the Africa Faith and Justice Network.  Since 1998, she has been the accountant and a part-time administrative assistant of USCMA.

Interns

 
Amanda Ceraldi is from Pasadena, Maryland; she loves all things Baltimore. She is a sophomore at The Catholic University of America studying Theology and Religious Studies with a minor in Peace and Justice Studies.  At CUA, she is the head of the advertisement committee for Students for Life, on the board for Students on the Mount, a member of Gratia Plena, a lector, an Undergraduate Fellow, and the Catholic Relief Services College Ambassador.  In July 2011, Amanda travelled to Portmore, Jamaica to work with the community and local church to help build a gazebo and run a day camp for the children.     





Patricia Silva is from Nahant, Massachusetts, and is a sophomore at The George Washington University studying international development and public health. At GW, she is a lector and the director of community outreach for the GW Newman Center and the Catholic Relief Services campus ambassador. In the summer of 2011, Patty lived and worked in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, for a month at a daycare and a shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children.
